GREG BAUMANN

I am originally from San Jose and began my high school teaching career in 1986 in San Francisco. Later, I taught English in South America and Spain. Being married to an officer with the U.S. Air Force, we moved around quite a bit. I worked as a Career Center Co-Chair at a community college in San Antonio, the head counselor and teacher at an alternative high school in Sacramento and as an academic counselor in the Bay Area. For the past 12 years I have worked as a transition counselor in the juvenile court schools for LACOE.

My wife and I have three children and a dog named Mowgli. I enjoy all sports, but most especially ice hockey and track and field. In my youth, I was a professional juggler as I traveled throughout the United States. I once had the opportunity to perform as part of the warmup act to a rock concert held at Dodger Stadium and at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
