Juan Gallegos is a Southern California native and has a multifaceted career as a clarinetist, conductor, educator, and studio musician.
Gallegos is a member of the Santa Barbara and Pasadena Symphonies. He often freelances with fellow symphonies such as the Los Angeles Opera, Pacific Symphony, and others. Gallegos regularly works in the studios recording under John Williams, Harry and Rupert Gregson-Williams, Randy Newman, and Michael Gioacchino to name a few. He can be heard on several television and film soundtracks. In addition, he has performed around the world giving performances all over Europe, South Korea, and Australia.
Gallegos is currently on faculty at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and at the Los Angeles County for the Arts. He holds Master degrees from The University of Texas and California State University, Fullerton.
