Born and raised throughout Latin America, Mrs. Hill enjoyed learning the rich and different variations of the Spanish language. She earned a Master’s degree in Spanish linguistics from California State University, Los Angeles and later, a Master’s in School Administration. Prior to joining the LACHSA community, she was an adjunct professor at Citrus Community College, and East Los Angeles Community College. Most recently, she served as an adjunct professor at Pasadena City College.

She strongly believes that all students deserve a high quality education regardless of their race, and socio-economic status; she is a true advocate of equality in education. Committed to provide and exemplified her true values, Mrs. Hill strives to create a learning environment where her students feel accepted, and therefore, empower to be long life learners.

Mrs. Hill states “it is my moral responsibility to provide an excellent education to today’s children and to our future children while keeping in mind that knowledge will be renewed and not lost through my commitment to serve our future generations. I am committed to establish a relationship with each of my students and to serve them the way I would have liked to be served. Throughout the past 20 years, I have dedicated my time to teaching, engaging, accommodating, respecting, embracing, empowering, nurturing, challenging, and counseling my students.”
